When we enter into an agreement to provide you with the services promised for processing of credit card payments, our mutual expectations are such that we will work together and service your account for many years to come.
If you make the decision to no longer process with us, a 60 day written notice of cancellation (signed by the signer of the merchant account) is required and you must continue to process during that 60 day term. Failure to do so by not providing a the written notice or not processing doing the 60 day period, could result in fees being charged by the processor which is disclosed in your merchant agreement and our proposal.
Special circumstances such as lack of processing, business closure, or change of ownership of the business are situations that the 60 day notice is waived in most cases but a cancel letter (signed) is still needed.
